after the first few home openers everything looks alright considering it’s the holidays. Vancouver nearly hit 10k which will definitely bring up the average attendance for this year. Hopefully Calgary can pick it up and Buffalo was a rescheduled game I believe.

    Colorado 13,407
    Philadelphia 11,023
    Calgary 10,804
    Buffalo 10,370
    Vancouver 9,902
    Georgia 4,943

They'll most likely pass 10k this year but Georgia will continue to be an anchor. SD will have a big crowd for the opener and probably avg. 8-9k. Long term league will continue to average 10k with the new cities coming in.

Local Vancouver reporter Steve Ewen saying that 9,902 number is more like 6k.

That's believable. There were large chunks of empty seats for the duration of the game.

Wings 2.0 attendance for games 2 and 3 were always the low spots.

image.jpg Lower bowl looks pretty full here, holds around 11k, don't think 9,900 is overstated too much.

Attendance will be one of the storylines all season for the Vancouver Warriors.

The Vancouver Canucks bought the struggling Vancouver Stealth over the summer and gave the National Lacrosse League outfit a new name and a new look as part of a move to Rogers Arena.

Warriors brass suggested earlier in the week they might attract 8,000 fans for their home opener on Friday against the Calgary Roughnecks. They never announced attendance and it looked like they had about 6,000 in the building for a 14-8 loss to the Roughnecks.

I read the article. Photo looks like more than 6,000.

Hard to judge from that pic, but 6,000 was probably a low estimate. I’d say it was at least 7,000 based on that small sample size photo.

Also not pictured was the sections to the right of Del Bianco, which were the emptiest in the arena. From watching the game and analyzing the pictures on social media, 9000 is a stretch and I believe that it was closer to 6000.

Definitely not 9,000 in the building. It was good, but scattered.

9000 was about the amount I believe for both Sask and Georgia's inaugural home games. And well we know how both of those teams turned out.

At opposite ends of the spectrum.

Note the Vancouver Stealth jersey in the upper right of the picture in the stands. Nice.

Saw a few of them while watching the game. There was also someone in the front row behind the bench in a white Vancouver Ravens jersey. Classic look.

Everyone I know who was at the game was saying it appeared to be around 6,000 to 7,000 range (or 80% lower bowl full) - with one source who has an inside source saying just over 7,000.

    Some thoughts on week 2.

The crowd in Calgary was big, especially for early in the season. Looked like it was even more than the 12,600 on pointstreak. Usually get their biggest numbers toward the end of the reg. season.

There must have been no one upstairs in TO because the lower bowl was packed. Great game and nice crowd. Hope to see solid numbers from the Rock this year.

Bandits crowd was ok, would be nice to see 15,000+ again.

Even with the kid deal, the Knighthawk turnout was encouraging.

Upper Bowl in Toronto was on the better side of normal
    - front row basically full around the entire rink,
    - decent concentration in first ~10 rows of two centre floor sections on either side.
    -empty otherwise.

    Figuring 9k downstairs / 1k upstairs

It looked every bit of 10,123 or more.
