Where do you go to get your news?
After following the team for four years, here and their website are the only places I have heard of.
No this and Facebook there’s a fan club fb page but it’s pretty dormant
They would need fans in order to have a fan site.
There are 1 or 3 Bwolves fans posting here. Games are well attended
I'm one of the few on here. I post the reviews prior to every game typically and will normally try to hit one away game per year if I can. Otherwise, the Philly fans have been very nice to post as well here from time to time.
Are the people who attend games actually fans or are they more people who wander in from the casino?
I think they have about 1,500 dedicated fans. The rest are just comps that the casino gives out.
If you check their ticket chart on a Tuesday before a game, you can sit pretty much anywhere you want. Then by Thursday it's nearly "sold out". I'm sure the casino looks at it as a nice little side profit if people show up and buy a beer or two.
This. Why let the venue, that you own, sit idle when you can open it up relatively cheap for 9 days a year and make somewhat of a profit?
Or drop a wad of money at Johnny rockets, or one of the other casino mall restsurants
Typical attendance has been in recent seasons somewhere in the ballpark of 5500. First season here we were like average 3000ish. In regards to the crowd, typically lower bowl will be close to filled and upper bowl typically is good to fill the middle sections. I'm not sure how many season ticket holders there are but we have multiplied by a factor of I'd like to say 2 or 3 from the 2nd season, but that might still only be like a 1000 tops. Typically the casino does really well with the walk up attendance as well as with local school and town teams. Also the casino gives away tickets too and at this point, because the team has been around for a bit, I think the attendance from the remaining seems to be the people who are into the team.
