Anyone care to guess? I'll go with 8,971.
Paid or given away?
However much the lower bowl sits. 12k?
11,011. I think they will open up a few sections upstairs to a large walkup crowd.
I severely doubt they open the upper deck for walk up on what will be a rainy day, plus they would have to have concessions open and.staffed. that would have to been decided weeks ago.
You musta not sat in the outfield at the vet often, nothing was open up there for Phillies games
Wow how off you are. Sat in the yellow seats often. As a kid ran around the whole upper concourse plenty. Dont see how this relates. Sat next to the video screen for the Braves playoff series
11,500, I agree with lower level probably unless they have already been selling the upper level seats.
Sorry should of specified 1997-2003 blue seats empty AF nothing open in the outfield
It relates because of staffing and concessions concerns
There's only about 100 seats left as of now. For an "expansion" team playing in their first game, it would not be in their best interest to turn people away, when there are 8,000 or so empty seats. At ArenaBowl two years ago, they only sold lower level seats, but then come game time there were people sitting upstairs and attendance was around 13,000. Hopefully they'll do the same. A little bit of drizzle isn't going to steer people away from going to an indoor sporting event.
Especially when the temps are over 50. Could be over 12k.
You know what?
Even if the attendance at the home opener is 1000, that's still 1000 better than the previous 4 seasons.
Welcome home, Philadelphia Wings 3.0!
