Not holding my breath for this now after reading the PLPA statement about the labor negotiations.

It's too bad, too. I was one of the 25 or so that actually showed up to the first one two years ago and really liked it.

Fanfest was last night and overall I thought it was a major success. They had about 100 people at a Town Hall Meeting and they were able to fill about 4 to 5 sections with people for a warmup session and scrimmage.

In the hall meeting that was ahead of the main open practice, Amber Cox (Mohegan) & Rich Lisk (Black Wolves GM) had a Q&A with the fans. It was nice to be able to hear certain things which they are trying to improve as well as get an explanation on how some decisions were made this off-season. One of the big upgrades this season is that the arena will now be utilizing HD cameras, however we will still not have the overhead goal camera in which would be nice for replays/challenges. Additionally they also made an announcement about putting together a bus trip to Philadelphia for Rivalry Weekend (Feb 16th and 17th), where the Black Wolves and Wings have a home-and-home.

As for the scrimmage, Buque and Jamieson were in net for Quarters 1 & 3 and Woods and Hill were in net for Quarters 2 & 4. Both Buque and Jamieson looked pretty good in net and I think are fighting to be the number 1.
The White team won the scrimmage over the Orange team in the shootout 11-10.

After the scrimmage, season ticket holders were invited on the field to briefly talk with the players and to take a group photo with them.
