I'm not sure just how dead he actually is. There's 2 episodes coming up later in the season that actually have his name in the title ("Brian's a Bad Father" and "Brian the Closer"). I also read somewhere that there's a promo pic for an upcoming episode somewhere, and Brian is in the picture.

I think he will return to the show in the not-so-distant future.

Yeah, you'd have to think that. Stewie should at some point re-assemble his time machine and rescue Brian just before he gets hit by the car again. However, the Griffin family supposedly does have a new family dog, Vinnie, who'll be played by a major guy (I forget the actor's name and his character) from The Sopranos. I'm not sure if I can go on with Family Guy without Brian. They can kill-off Meg for all I care.

How long will it be before PETA complains about Brian being killed off? ;)

BTW, Brian had a Wiki page..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Griffin and he was "alive" at the start of this round, as evidenced by the fact that he "died". I guess Vin has been rubbing off on me, because I'm wondering if he could have been a pick? Any thoughts?

If people can gamble on scripted outcomes like "professional wrestling", I don't see why they can't on scripted character deaths or things like betting on "Who shot JR?".

people gamble on wrasslin??? That is the most pathetic thing I have heard in months.

  15. Are we talking betting amongst friends such as in our own "WWE Survivor Series 2013 Prediction Thread", or are we talking Las Vegas style, OTB betting? I hope it is just the former!

If not, I gotta rekindle some friendships with the folks at the WWE and get some inside info on who the script is favoring each week LOL!

Here's another one of those not well-known people who had a pivotal impact in changing the world.

I underlined John von Neumann because he arguably was the most brilliant person of the 20th Century. Here is how Nathan Myhrvold, chief technology officer for Microsoft in 1999 described von Neumann in Time magazine:
