Who is making the Gait lacrosse equipment these days and where can I find it online? I keep seeing goalies and players this season wearing their gloves but I can’t seem to find even a website for Gait that is active.

Must be old equipment as Gait / DeBeers went out of business around 3-4 years ago. I know their bulbous two-colour helmets that used to be standard in the NLL ca. 2001-2002 range are no longer legal to use in Canadian summerball leagues, CLA banned them back in 2013.

Considering how stingy the NLL has been on what brand of gear the players use in recent years, I'm a little surprised that players would be allowed to use Gait gear now.

Well they must be back in the game because this is what I keep seeing. It seems like every goalie has at least one set of these gloves and number of players are where field gloves as well.

I saw several commercials for Gait Lacrosse last night while watching the Bandits game, but didn't pay attention to anything aside from that.

On a loosely related note, just busted my last "throwback" stick - a Shockwave, branded DeBeer even, no sign of the Gait name......2002 ish

My final Mohawk finally bit the dust in November. :(

Being winter, I didn't have a good place to tune up a new stick on a wall......The Shockwave had a similar shape and pocket so, it was ready to go, and I used it for the last couple weeks of Fall beer league, and a holiday tourney.

Couple goals left in it, but, it ended up snapping right through one of the sidewalls as I caught a pass.

Don't know what the hell to do now because there aren't any sticks with those old shapes. Can't even pinch any to shapes like that :(.

Used to swear by Mohawks, but, they're done. Wish Brine would reissue the Edge Plus with the better modern plastic....quick bake to bring it half an inch narrower, and, there is the perfect stick!

Anyway, I checked the specialist store near here and they do not have squat by Gait except box facemasks.

ComeCto think of it, i haven't seen any heads or sticks for years anywhere but the clearance rack.....almost splurged $19 on a new Wizard last year, but......kept the money when I remembered that that shtt has to be 15 years old or better, so, even though it's new, the plastic would be all brittle.

I'd be all over a Triton if they ever revived that pattern, maybe a Torque.

I was told that the GAIT that we are seeing in the NLL these days is Under Armour just relabelled. Supposedly GAIT is now in charge of UA Lacrosse gear. I don't have any way to confirm this however.

Might be an alright product line to have your name associated with. Just picked up a deeply discounted "pro" model Under Armor combo.......nice light shaft with the grippy coating, well shaped, sturdy head. List $200, on for $60.

Funny story - the factory pocket was even nearly perfect....well placed at the top of the throat, little deeper than one ball

Only thing I f'ed with was to flip the shooters - the knots were originally installed on the right sidewall, so, they'd be raked across the ground every time I took a draw.

That GAIT on the glove doesn't look anything like their wordmark logo they used. Strange.

Underarmor did not want to pay Gait for the logo probably.
