Don't complain about this too much or we'll end up with the lacrosse version of Fox's glowing puck when they did NHL broadcasts.

This is true.......but, when you have a shtt-eating cameraman and director that zoom tight on two players, and hold that zoom for several seconds after the ball has been moved, you also have no clue who has the ball, so, same difference and no hope of learning anything about the sport :D

My personal favourite is when they leave the frame on the goaltender that has just cleared the ball and completely miss an odd man rush scoring chance/score at the other end.

Close second is when they show the d-men shuffling through the back door on a change......and completely miss an odd man rush scoring chance/score at the other end.

Third is the aforementioned tight zoom on a guy dodging, and, leaving the zoom on him after he's dished......and completely miss the screen, setup pass and/or scoring chance/score out of the frame.

Fifth is when they switch to the reverse angle corner cam during live action, so not only are there fewer/bigger guys on the screen, but, every last one of them is instantly moving in a different effing direction!!! Better still is when they follow the wrong guy out of the scrum :D

Seriously - just do the wide angle centre floor cam until it's time for a replay/chalk talk......you're putting the viewer in a commonly believed "best seat in the house".
