Rochester at Buffalo game thread for 4/28--Higgins gets the start in net.
Bad decision by Evans to sub off. He left Withers all alone.
Decent quarter. Higgins is playing fine, have to clean up the broken plays, mental lapses are responsible for two other Rochester goals.
Offense sucks again. 4 goals and 19 shots with 6 mins to go in the half.
No, our defense sucks. They don't look around to check for cutters sneaking in behind them.
Long range shooting keeping us in it during the second quarter. We have to get to the middle if we're going to pull this out. Lack of awareness is killing us, bad changes or bad shots (Durston at the end of the half).
Man, we struggle to score goals and Roch gets these gimmes. They better wake up and get their heads out of their a**es.
3 straight by Rochester, all five hole.
What is the score? It is 10-9 according to my NLL TV feed with 2 left in the 3rd at 21:22 ET.
Now it's 10-10 with 2:47 left.
13-9 Rochester in the 4th.
The Bandits season is coming to an end. I feel bad like it's my fault because I have been a shitty fan this year.
Not consistent enough this year. They have scored 3 straight, but I'm pessimistic that they'll pull this out, 14-12 8:40 left.
Too bad that Durston non-goal didn't count! That would have been on ESPN.
**** this franchise right now. 2 years in a row missing out. Clean the ******* house
Are you kidding, Pegula doesn't know the bandits exist, so it'll be status quo for next season.
10/10 for shitting the bed at home
Oh well. At least the East was exciting this season with every single team in it during the final weekend. Reminds me of 2008 when we had 4 10-6 teams in the East and figuring out the tie-breakers was heinous.
Exciting finish. But close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
It would have been nice to see what kind of finish the game would have had without the major by Brownell. It was set up for a thrilling ending, but Rochester could kill those last 5. Even with it it was still almost a miracle if Durston catches the pass at the end. That's way the ball bounces sometimes.
You could really see the depth Rochester has as they had about 9 or 10 different guys score. Tough to dig out of a 5 goal hole against Vinc. He's killed Buffalo for years and might be the best ever.
