Paying homage is one thing, actually having the past as part of your franchise is another.
This team has no past, so in theory those retired numbers can and may be worn by any player on this team. Those numbers are still retired, but up in New England.
    Definitely weird.

New England doesn’t adhere to the retired numbers
    While no ones worn 66
Evan Kirk went from 36 to 35 after the relocation and Jamie Lincoln wore 42 in 2016

Oh, you are probably right. I just remember talk here about a Bergey bobblehead. We only had Dallas, Hollywood, and the two minis.. Ratcliffe and someone else. I will have to look. Still want my Bergey banner then

Wings just announced their PA guy... it's some dude not named Kevin Casey.

Update- Apparently it's the same clown that does the PA for the Soul.

Finn was the best, I had thought for years he wasn't such a nice outgoing guy. Then I spent an hour talking with him at a bar table during the 2001 Championship party at The Lagoon and he was so nice and outgoing. Wonder what he's up to these days.

Last I knew he lived in Florida. I randomly encountered him at the post game party after a Rock-Wings game in Philly in 2014. It was a pretty pleasant surprise to get to talk to him that day since I feel like he’s kinda slipped into an abyss since his playing days ended.
