I was thinking with all the hype of NLL expansion what's everyone's top five cities that used to have an NLL team and top 5 cities that never had one.

5 ex-NLL locations for me are:
    1, Edmonton
    2, Minneapolis
    3, Boston
    4, Phoenix
    5, Portland

    5 New locations are:
    1, Oklahoma city
    2, Halifax
    3, Tampa bay
    4, Dallas
    5, New Orleans

I might try Dallas with a deep-pocket/connected owner. Otherwise, yeah, it's a serious longshot at best.

On your list of ex-NLL locations, I'd like to see Edmonton, Minnesota, and Boston again, although I have my doubts that a Boston market would work unless they had the Bruins on board.

For new locations, Halifax is the location I'd like to see most.

At this point, I'd almost like to see this league have a good amount of Canadian teams with some close in proximity to the US/Canada border American teams since I don't think there's really a market down south for the NLL right now.

So in an ideal world (for me, anyways), you'd have:

Toronto, Vancouver, Saskatchewan, Calgary, Halifax or Winnipeg, Montreal

Buffalo, Rochester, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Colorado, 1 TBD (maybe New York? Boston? Minnesota??)

Those are just cities I like that have either NHL or NBA teams , I wasn't putting serious pitches.... Just wanted to see where people would like a team for their own personal reasons
  7. For me Long Island, Detroit and Dallas would be solid locations.
