I kinda like it to be honest.
same. It looks more professional
I like it, as well. It will be interesting to see how tall it is.
Whenever we have a mention of the NLL trophy, I always wonder whatever happened to the North American Cup used in the MILL. It hard to even find a picture of it on google other than a still shot from a video. I actually have a photo of it that I took when it was on display at the Aud in '93 or '94. Does anyone know what became of the North American Cup? Who has it?
a) without scale, it looks like a statuette they would hand out from a third rate media/entertainment awards show.
b) dont call it a cup if it is not a cup.
c) make it a cup - Any self respecting lacrosse trophy should be able to hold at least a six pack.
It is a cup
The star is hallow
but can it hold a six pack?
I’ll ask the black wolves when they hoist it in 5 weeks
The star is holy?
Thy kingdom come
The FIFA World Cup trophy is not a cup.....if it was a cup, would it be the World Cup Cup?
I never even thought about how the World Cup trophy isn't even a cup.... But today I learned that the original World Cup trophy, the Jules Rimet Trophy, was indeed a cup.
Some sporting Cups even have holes.https://goo.gl/images/8yvJKk
I do like the way it incorporates the emblematic star of the league logo.
That said, for some reason it made me think of the doomsday machine in star trek.
Maybe 6 of those mini cans they serve on airplanes....
More than likely it's gathering dust in John Tavares' basement.
Shared the photo with gmbjr. He says it will look great in wells Fargo center display case..
I keep telling everyone I have the North American Cup and no one believes me. When I die and Amy puts it on Ebay you'll all be shocked.
This new one is without a doubt one of the best three NLL trophies they have had.
