Paul Day completes coaching staff.
I loved Ian Rubel when he played, but where on earth did they find him? I feel like he’s disappeared off the face of the planet since retiring from the NLL.
So where have they been coaching? Or are these "character" reaches?
Well Kelusky was coaching the Black Wolves offense.
I thought he was coaching somewhere. Tells how often one pays attention to assistant coaches.
so much for that ringing endorsement.
I’m just glad it’s not Jim milligan running the offense again, I could probably draw up a better game plan than him
Let me get excited about this...
...okay, I'm done.
I'm not sure what coaching experience Rubel has other than this random youth program
I know he became a cop around the time he retired from the NLL, but I'm not sure if he still does that. His OPP Twitter account has long since been deleted.
Interesting. I'm surprised I didn't come across this when I googled Rubel's name a while back to see what he had been up to. I also never realized that Toll is coaching in St. Catharines either.
I googled too, same miss. My missing Klelusky was a brain fart.
Would the Wings be better off if they fired Ian Rubel?
Clearly something is amiss since they flat line on D regularly after 45 minutes
Perhaps it would be wise to bring Ian Rubel out of retirement and put the 41 year old stud muffin on defense? Surely he'd be an upgrade over some of the sludge they're trudging out there.
They used all of their resources in the offseason on offense. Can't blame a coach for not being able to herd mice.
On the plus side, Charbonneau is the best rookie in the league not named Staats.
I was just about to make the same comments as W4L.
My first thoughts on seeing the D roster was pretty much "who dat?"
D experience is really thin, and, goaltending is not exactly the kind that is going to steal games behind less than stellar D.
If they drafted athletes that are coachable, maybe Rubel can pull off a kind of NY Titans thing where inexperienced Americans actually became a decent and cohesive unit......I will say that the games have been closer than I figured, which is actually a credit to those involved.........
Who dat is what we said to almost the entire roster. Its all good, we have a team!
Separate names with a comma.
