On the replay, Sawyer missed challenging a goal by Hellyer that was good but waved off. That would have made it 10-8. And then Schreiber was stopped on the penalty shot. Could have been 11-8 at that point. Add those 2 in and it could easily be 13-13 going to the end of the 4th.

Yes, the East is that close. ;)

Looking at remainder of schedule. Rock and New England could be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs.

Took until 11:36 of the first for attack to get their first goal.

two to show for the quarter and a lead.....beggars can't be choosers, but, this pace might not be enough, let alone what this pace might turn into in the second half.

3 quick ones at the start of the second.

Bandits swapped goalies and adjusted a bit.

Over-under on Rock goals between now and game-end is set to 3

    Two powerplays, (-1) of 2.

There's the Rock O I know and love.

On top of it, they got hot, the opposition adjusted (in this case with a goalie change) and the O goes cold. Jones just scored to make it 9-8 so hopefully they resist their urge to score 3 or 4 goals in a half.

1 attack, 1 transition goal so far in the third......attack is on a pace for ~three second half goals

Hellyer goes to the hole.......still on a pace for 3, but, much better odds.

To the Rock's credit, they've managed more than single digits, have multiple scorers and are seeing production from their top O men, Schrieber excepted.

Got an opinion on the Jones almost goal?

It sure looked like Higgins dragged it a long way before it surfaced, but, no TV angle would ever prove where the ball actually was.

Outscores Buffalo while on the wrong end of a major......WTF? That wasn't in the script!?

Too inconclusive to call. Siding with the ref this time.

Yeah, there's no way you could overturn a call. The one angle made it look like it was dragged far enough to have been in, though.

The Rock have a powerplay to screw up now. Let's hope they don't let the Bandits back in the game.

It was actually closer to 250. Definitely the most Rock fans I've seen in Buffalo in years, but not as many as were at the 2011 playoff game.
