    Where the hell is Thul?

once Canada and Iroquois' defenses start coming together, there's not many attackers on that list that will get anywhere near the good parts of the attack zone......

After Resetarits, Walters, Westervelt & Buchanan there isn't much. White a solid defender, but they'll be in tough. If they can build chemistry that can make up for a talent deficiency. But if they have injuries to any of these core pieces it will be a long tournament.

    I would guess military service.

That's what I figured. And, that's actually a better top four than many fans would give credit for, but, there's no field general, nor are there any bangers to set picks and help win the loose ball battles.

The defense is probably the best available, but, they're in tough......the only tender whose name I even recognize is Henhawk, and his best years were a year or two ago......

I agree it's a solid top 4 and as you said complimentary players in their careers (so far). Keeping the ball out of the net will be a task.

no floor general on this team is my biggest concern.

offense maybe surprising good with both westy and thul. i'm guessing powell and walters will run the floor. buchanan and resartitis have proven to be streaky goal scorers. really looking forward to see snider and holman on the floor.
transition might just be joel white, kid might run out of gas. where is john ranagan?
reynolds and downing can provide defense on top, the crease defense has toughness with odougherty, manney and megill. cj might be the veltman of the group.
goalie -- dave mather to start because we have already tried henhawk and collins.

That offense is solid, a few old guys but there is proven talent. The D (has some good pieces) and the goaltending are the big question marks, but we knew that going in.

Powell and Thul make this more interesting than I thought it would be.

Still , biggest challenge is going to be keeping balls out of their own net against Iroquois and Canada

They might lose to one of the European squads that is a sad roster

The defense is thin-ish and I don't have a clue about the goaltending, but I've never seen Mather in the pro nets...,so, I'm betting its a challenge keeping balls out of the net.

At the other end, they're going to be third best. None of the other teams is going to have deep NLL or Senior experience,

    I'd take this bet.

Fun fact: I saw a commercial on TV this morning advertising the WILC while I was watching the world track & field championships on Universal Sports.
