With the release of the Sixers schedule, it is possible to begin to think about which dates the Wings may end up playing on. There are lots of possible dates...Let's look at Saturdays first.

    12/8, 1/12, 1/26, 2/2 (Flyers at 1), 2/9 (Flyers at 1), 2/16 (Flyers at 1), 3/9, 3/16, 3/23 (Flyers at 1), 3/30, 4/6 (Flyers at 7), 4/13, 4/20, 4/27

14 possible dates with four dates where the Flyers are playing at 1pm and one where the Flyers are playing at 7pm.

    What about Fridays?

    12/7, 12/21, 1/4, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/22, 3/29, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26

    15 possibilities

    Lastly, Sundays?

    12/9, 12/16, 12/23, 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/17, 2/24, 3/3, 3/17, 3/24, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28

    17 possibilities...not that I want a Sunday game.

Obviously this is subject to change with concerts and so forth, but its a place to start.

I doubt the NHL would be happy with 4/6 and the Wings early with the Flyers at 7. All the other dates are very possible.

The four Sats with the 1pm Flyers games looks like really solid dates.

12/21 has disappeared as Trans-Siberian Orchestra will perform that day.

There will be some weekend Villanova hoops games as well, unannounced at the moment, which will take a few of the potential slots.

At least their new stadium is supposed to be ready.

Saturday December 8th is clearly going to be the home opener as it falls in line with opening night for the league and they would be idiots as a league to send the wings to San Diego first as there’s no natural rivalry other than expansion class of 2017.

Even so, they usually play about 4 games at the Wells Fargo Center every year, but they're usually always noon start times.

For marketing the BWolves would be a perfect matchup. But having 2 expansion teams get their feet wet in each of their first game makes sense. Maybe they even start with a home and home for those teams? Personally I hope the Wings play in SD on Presidents or MLK weekend. Haven't traveled anywhere except CT for 3 or 4 years vacation wise.

Sure, but at least it isn't a full slate of dates

Nova only has its schedule out through Dec, but the do have a home game 12/8 vs St Joseph, stadium not listed.

Last year Villanova had to play every game at the WFC because of work being done at the Pavilion. The season before, they didn't start playing at the WFC until after Christmas. That may be a good sign.

NO REASON WHY THE WINGS CANNOT PLAY WHILE THE BAND PLAYS.

No Sun games, only 2 afternoon games. Mostly Sat nights!

In the most NLL thing possible, the Wings have a bye weeks 1 and 2.

Looks like 3 games after flyers games.

And that works in their favor to get 2 weeks of regular season game tape of the Bandits, the Wings' first opponent.
